A warm healthy soup is what she always aim for after fasting: It is light, loaded with protein and fibers.
And this very simple to make soup, yet delicious, requires only 5 ingredients!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Hunter’s Gourmet Organic White Quinoa (soaked in water for 15mins then washed & drained)
1/2 cup frozen green peas
900 ml chicken or vegetable broth
1 tsp corn starch (dissolved in 2 tbsp water)
Garnish: Hunter’s Gourmet Fried Onions and sliced green chili


Methods:
•Using a deep bottom pan, pour in the chicken stock
•Add the quinoa and let it cook until the liquid reduced to half
•Add the green peas, let it cook boil more for 3 mins
•Finally add the dissolved cornstarch and stir well
•Turn off the fire when it thickens
•Pour the soup in your desired serving bowl
•Garnish with fried onions for texture and taste and green chili for a little heat.
