Hunter’s Gourmet Halloween Fun

Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. Not wanting to frighten any readers, let’s just say that the history of Halloween (follow link if you dare) is as creepy as one would assume. Thankfully at Hunter Foods we like to keep things light and fun, with a little bit of creativity to get us through this time of year. With the help of some faithful Hunter’s Gourmet Hand Cooked Potato Chip fans, we have an amazing and easy craft to help you get festive and decorate your doorsteps for those Trick-O-Treaters!   Step One: Head to your closest markets and get your favorite canisters of Hunter’s Gourmet Hand Cooked Potato Chips! Eat all the chips! Enjoy! Then rinse and towel dry your chip canisters. *Available at Spinneys, Carrefour, Géant, Abela, and selected flavours in Zoom Market Step Two: With a permanent marker – draw your best spooky Halloween designs on the now cleaned and dried Hunter’s Gourmet canisters. Depending on the age of your child, an adult may have to cut out the canister design. You can use a kitchen knife and a pair of scissors, but we’ve founded a serrated pumpkin carving kit knife is an excellent option. Cut out the spooky designs! Paint as desired, or leave as-is! Let dry.   Step Three: Using LED fire safe candles, place the lights inside the now transformed Hunter’s Gourmet canisters and turn off the lights!! Watch with excitement as your Halloween creation comes to life!  

**Please use caution with any real fire flames around the canister as it is made from paper and is flammable. Please do not place lid on canister if a real candle is used. The plastic lid will melt and could cause a fire**
